Hello :-) I started classical guitar recently, I mainly play fretless bass but I wanted something I could play without worrying about amps, cables and really expensive strings. I'm loving it so far, I have a lot of learning to do and Merce's videos seemed the best by a long way. I'm so glad I joined :-) it's grate to be able to chat to other folks who love the classical guitar.

Coming from fretless bass is actually a beautiful background, your ear, sense of intonation, and phrasing will transfer much more than you might expect. Classical guitar will feel like a new world at first, but you’re building on a strong musical foundation already.
Take your time with the learning curve, there’s no rush here. If you ever feel unsure what to focus on, the roadmap and the replays are there to guide you step by step, and of course the community is always happy to help.
