A Practice Tracker for Thoughtful, Consistent Practice

I’m happy to finally share that the MFStore is now officially open.
It’s something I’ve wanted to do for a while: create a space where I can offer tools, scores, and resources that genuinely support your musical journey. The practice tracker I’m sharing here is the very first item in the store — and there will be more to come, including new scores and other materials I’m excited to share with you in the future.
Over the past year, my relationship with practice has changed quite a lot.
Like many musicians, I’ve gone through periods where time was limited, routines were disrupted, and consistency became harder than I expected. In those moments, I realized that motivation alone wasn’t the problem — what I was missing was a clear, calm structure that could adapt to real life.
I’ve always been someone who enjoys organization. Not rigid control, but thoughtful planning: knowing what I’m working on, why I’m working on it, and being able to see progress without pressure. So I started building a simple practice tracker for myself.
At first, it was just a personal tool. Over time, I refined it, adjusted it, removed what wasn’t essential, and kept what truly helped. Eventually, it became something I now use consistently in my own practice.
What I like about this tracker is that it doesn’t try to do too much.
It’s not about tracking every minute or judging your productivity.
It’s about clarity.
It helps you:
Decide what really matters in your practice
Keep your focus on a few essential elements
Stay accountable without becoming rigid
Build consistency, even when life is busy or unpredictable

The tracker is built in Notion, which I personally love for its simplicity and flexibility. Once duplicated into your own workspace, it’s fully yours: you can adapt it, simplify it, or make it more detailed depending on your needs.
I’ve decided to make this practice tracker available in the MFStore not only for my students, but for anyone who values a thoughtful, organized approach to practice. Especially for those who feel they are often “starting over” and want a calmer, more sustainable way forward.
If you enjoy planning your study, reflecting on your progress, and practicing with intention rather than pressure, this tracker may support you in a very practical way.
You can find My Practice Tracker in the Practice Tools section of the MFStore.
I hope it helps you build a practice routine that feels clear, supportive, and realistic — one you can actually come back to, again and again.
Yours,
Merce
