What 2025 Taught Me

As we step into a new year, I wanted to pause and reflect on the one we’re leaving behind.
2025 was a season of intense change for me — moving countries, facing constant setbacks, and losing the rhythm I had worked so hard to build. At one point, I realized I had completely lost my guitar practice routine… and with it, a big part of my identity.
But amidst the chaos, I learned some essential lessons — about surrender, simplicity, and the power of small daily actions.
This blog post is based on a video I just released, where I share the five biggest lessons I’m carrying into 2026:
You can’t control everything.
Hold on to your core routines.
Value small habits — they add up.
Protect what truly matters.
Slow down, and listen — to yourself and to life.

If you’re trying to rebuild your practice this year, the MFA Roadmap might be a great place to start — it’s a daily system I created to help guitarists stay grounded, even in unpredictable times.

Wherever this year finds you, I hope you make space for calm, consistency, and connection.
Wishing you a peaceful 2026,
