You’ll meet your teacher on Zoom, discuss your experience and goals, and explore your playing together. It’s an opportunity to get to know their teaching approach and see whether studying together is a good fit.

Each teacher works with particular levels, which you’ll find on their profile. You don’t need a polished performance for your trial. If you’re unsure which teacher suits you, contact us at contact@mercefont.com.

Trial lessons are free and last 30 minutes with every teacher. There’s no obligation to purchase a membership afterward.

Bring your guitar, your questions, and a piece or exercise you’re working on, if you have one. Have the score available if you use one. There’s no need to prepare a perfect performance—we want to understand your playing and what you’d like help with.

All trial lessons take place on Zoom. For the best experience, use a computer with the Zoom app installed, a stable internet connection, and a working camera and microphone. Position your camera so your teacher can see your guitar and both hands.

The calendar can display times in your local time zone or your teacher’s time zone. Check which time zone is selected before choosing your appointment.

No. Trial lessons are not added to the Lesson Hub. The Lesson Hub is provided for membership lessons.

If you need to reschedule, please contact us at contact@mercefont.com at least 48 hours before your appointment. Trial lessons cancelled less than 48 hours beforehand are forfeited.

If you and your teacher agree that studying together is a good fit and a membership place is available, your teacher will send you an enrollment link. You can review the available plans and decide whether you’d like to continue. There’s no obligation to join.

Yes. You can purchase Single Lessons in addition to your membership lessons. Students with an active plan can book these at a discounted rate inside the Academy.

We’ll discuss this with you openly. If we know another educator who would suit your level, goals, and interests, we’ll recommend them to help you find suitable guidance.
