If you’ve ever felt frustrated with barré chords — too much tension, awkward positions, or shapes that feel physically impossible — this new video will change how you think about the left hand.
In my latest YouTube tutorial, I break down advanced barré techniques that go far beyond the basics:
✅ Arched 6-string barrés that save energy by pressing only where needed
✅ Diagonal (transverse) barrés that recreate thumb-fingerings used in 19th-century music
✅ Preliminary barrés to prepare the finger for larger shapes
✅ Non-index finger barrés — including the pinky! — for complex voicings and ornamentation
These tools will give you more control, less strain, and a greater range of fingering options — especially in pieces by composers like Giuliani, Mertz, or Castelnuovo-Tedesco.
