What's the MFA Learning Group about?
The idea behind this group is to open the possibility to access to professional classical guitar coaching to those who struggle with the private tuition costs. With this membership you gain access to all our programs, content, events and direct support from Merce.
Here what the MFA Learning Group (35€/month) includes:
Learning Group Meet-Up: The group meets with Merce once a month. Submit your questions, doubts or any issues that you are currently experiencing with pieces you are studying and Merce will help you personally!
Programs: Weekly exercises with instruction videos/PDFs to improve your skills. Share your progress and get feedback from the community!
24/7 community support: Use the community to support your study. Ask questions, get repertoire and technical advice. Post your progress videos and get feedback with score annotations. Get answers to quick queries from the group or Merce by chat or group post.
Masterclasses: Benefit from our masterclasses with Merce and other international guest artists. Masterclasses will cover a wide variety of topics, such as standard classical guitar repertoire, musical forms, harmony, transcription techniques, music theory applied to the guitar and more. Learning Group members will receive free tickets to all our events.
Technique Workshop Replays: Access all past Technique Workshops. These are opportunities to focus on specific areas of technique with extended videos carefully planned to facilitate your practice session as you play along with Merce.
Performance Seminars: Learning Group members enjoy MFA Student Concerts participating in post-performance discussions, sharing study tips and performance advice.
Forum: Access the Forum and enjoy more than 100 insightful articles, with new posts added weekly as well as technique workshop replays!
