MFA Masterclasses

Dear reader,

This last July the students of the MFA Guitar Academy took part in our Masterclass series and they got the chance to perform for Maestro S.Rodriguez, an accomplished concert artist and professor from Portugal.

Masterclasses are part of our educational program to help the student have a broader spectrum of ideas and knowledge from reputable teachers as well as providing the perfect scenario to put into real practice the performance skills developed throughout the year in our monthly student concerts.

Our goal in the Academy is to help the students gain a deeper insight on classical guitar. Our study plan is focused on making our students knowledgable musicians with a broad range of repertoire within different style periods as well as developing the capability to perform and share the music they work so hard on, thus we also put a lot of emphasis on study techniques, mind and stress control through their regular performances.

This approach has shown us great results with students being very motivated and excited to share their progress with their fellow students in a comfortable yet inspiring environment.

We feel blessed to see what a beautiful group we became, a likeminded group of people that go through the same journey together and inspire each other. From here we want to say congratulations to all our students for taking part at the Masterclass and be sure we´ll bring more your way!
